6 Steps to Youtuber Success Stories

andromedia

Everyone wants to be a successful youtuber star.  When SweptAway Tv started there were no YouTube stars.  The first videos were short and very low quality.  The key words and tags were still important but the total number of videos uploaded were small compared to now.  Now you really have to break through the clutter so following these 6 steps will help you get started

  1. Don’t follow everyone else.  You’ve got the make your own TREND or unique idea.  Following will just bury you in the pile with everyone else.  The open boxing videos are saturated.  No more junk in the blender videos.  What can you do that is unique and different?1
  2. Video production tools are easy to find and relatively affordable versus 10 years ago.  3 point lighting will always help to make your videos look more professional.  Consider the background that you are shooting against.  Plain colors work better than busy prints.   You can always start with your smartphone and work your way up to a better camcorder or SLR that shoots video.3
  3. SOUND I can not emphasize how important sound is.  Whatever you use to shoot should have a mic  and  headphone jack.  If  the video is great but there’s no sound you are out of luck.  Canon makes a very inexpensive camcorder for under $200 that has both a mic and headphone jack.
  4. Be patient.  You should promote your channel on all of your social medias, add it to your email signature and tweet regular messages about your content with links to your channel.  It takes time to build a following.  See if you can get a return tweet from a celebrity with many followers.
  5. Add more channels as you grow.  Keep the same theme but add other viewpoints, opinions, variation to additional channels.6
  6. Add crew members as needed but with some ingenuity you can start alone.  Grab a friend to run the camera and listen to the sound for you.  Work together but you remain the focus of the channel and draw viewers in. SATV brittany koval and fashion segment at Teen Angel_jpg

Blame Yourself by Zack Fresh and CyHi the Prynce

Shai PicsmBy Shai Cohen

I just reviewed the music video Blame Yo Self by Zack Fresh and CyHi the Prynce. I found this song to be a great combination of R&B and moderate Rap. I found that the singer Zach Fresh has a very sultry voice like that of Neyo and Usher. CyHi Prynce has a great sound for rapper, he is not hardcore rap, but just mild enough so that everyone can enjoy it. The message that they are sending about is that you shouldn’t hate regardless of looks, religion, abilities, and or fame. I think that the overall song is amazing and it will appeal to people who enjoy many different music genres.

Halloween Horrors 2012

Review by Ben Pawliger and Jake Wasserman

Fright Nights 2012 is a spookified center of fun for everyone in the South Florida Area. People of all ages, from young children to older adults came out to the South Florida Fairgrounds to be spooked and horrified by zombies and monsters. Fright Nights is a large carnival with a Halloween twist. Rides, such as ferris-wheels, go-carts, spinning cradles, games, and more are planted all over the fairgrounds, as would any carnival. The Halloween twist though includes Haunted Houses, monsters strolling through the Midway, and of course, the crazy chain-saw crazy zombies. These zombies are not the typical slow walking arms out zombies, these zombies are ready to spook any guests of theirs by sneaking up behind them, ripping the loud chainsaws at their ears, feet, or wherever it is easiest to spook their new friends. The haunted houses are also a creepy attraction at the event. These 5 houses are dark traps with strange monsters poking at their prey from every direction! Everyone, from children to adults, claimed that they were scared from these houses of horror. Forget pumpkins and candy, the real spookiness and fun of Halloween is at Fright Nights in West Palm Beach, Florida.

South Florida’s Fright Night is open for business at the South Florida Fairgrounds. This year there are 5 Haunted Houses to chose from. It’s scary even walking around the grounds of Fright Nights because you never know who is going to come up and scare you!! Take friends for support…..and watch your back.

To get there: take I95 north to SOuthern Blvd. Go west to Fairgrounds Road. Make a right and go to Gate8. You can’t miss it. You can also take 441 North to Southern and make a right turn. Turn left on to Fairgrounds Road and go to gate 8.
It’s open Thursday through Saturday. Thursday until 11 and the weekends till 12.

Have a frighteningly great time. We did.
