The news that we have been eagerly awaiting is finally here.  Off the Bus and On the Record is out and we will have our first copies tomorrow 6-23-09!

You can order your copy here.  Amazon should be sending out their copies by next Monday.

Live Nation announced today that all lawn tickets will be sold at an all-in price of $24.99  - no extra fees – as this week’s installment of “No Service Fee Wednesday.” The special offer, which is for all lawn tickets at Live Nation ticketed amphitheatres, runs for 24 hours beginning on Wednesday, June 17 only at LiveNation.com. This includes all Festival Lawn tickets at the Cruzan and Bayfront Park Amphitheatres in South Florida

“I read the blogs and emails listening to what concert fans are saying.  They’ve been really clear, they want a break on ticket prices in these tough economic times,” said Michael Rapino, President and Chief Executive Officer of Live Nation. For this Wednesday one all-in ticket price for all lawn tickets – only $24.99 with no additional fees of any kind.”

The offer kicks off at 12:01 a.m. local time on Wednesday, June 17, and will run for ONLY 24 hours at www.LiveNation.com.

These all-in lawn tickets are available only through Livenation.com at Live Nation ticketed amphitheatres in the U.S. and Canada including the Cruzan and Bayfront Park Amphitheatres in South Florida and for concerts including but not limited to:

Season 9 was a great one for Swept Away TV-The Rock Star Stories.  We held 6 Student Press Conferences with such bands as

Fall Out Boy

All Time Low

Flogging Molly

The Rocket Summer

Phantom Planet

Bayside

Cute is What We Aim For

Secondhand Serenade 

We interviewed awesome bands such as Jack’s Mannequin, We the Kings, Justin Nozuka, Reel Big Fish, Slightly Stoopid, William Tell, Ludo, Hit the Lights, Dredg, and over 100 others.

We have a host of positions that we are looking to fill in our 10th SEASON!!!  We offer internships for  school credit as well.  

Camera people: With access to cameras and microphones (age 15 and up)  

Interviewers: On camera and must audition for the position, (age 16 and up)

Interview Trainees-Phone interviews, interviews for the website (age 15 and up)

Writers:  We need a public relations chairperson and a writer for the website. (age 15 and up)

All positions receive community service hours, recommendations and perks such as tickets and exclusive opportunities to attend premieres, screenings, and backstage events.

Previous cast members are now in excellent film schools and have graduated and are working in the industry.
