Today we had an amazing kind of update from Jordan and Steve from New Found Glory. Though Jordan just celebrated his 28th birthday this week, these guys are road tested veterans of the music landscape. They haven’t lost their sense of humor or their fondness for South Florida and South Florida surely has not lost their warm feelings for their hometown artists. Some highlights: Japan is their favorite place to play, NFG has front to back Halo3 tournaments on their bus, and Steve can still get sick during the first show of each tour. Not necessarily but it could happen. You’ll have to check out the rest of the interview in the next show.

Zomba Recording has filed a federal lawsuit in Los Angeles, charging the proprietor of PerezHilton.com with illegally posting Britney Spears recordings.
Attorneys for Zomba, which owns the copyrights to Spears’ recordings, filed the suit Thursday against the gossip Web site and its proprietor, Mario Lavandeira, the company said.
The suit accuses Lavandeira of violating Zomba’s copyrights by posting at least 10 completed tracks and unfinished demos from Spears’ upcoming album, “Blackout,” during the past three months.
“Blackout” was scheduled to be released Nov. 13, but Spears’ label, Jive Records, announced Wednesday it was moving up the release date to Oct. 30 because of the Internet leaks.
